FAQ

A combination of passionate caregivers providing aggressive rehabilitation in a comforting home-like atmosphere, make NeuLife a unique and highly sought-after program.

Post-Acute Rehab is the care and rehabilitation you receive between a hospital and home. At NeuLife, we focus on the physical and mental aspect of the rehab process in order to get the patient to the highest level of independence possible.

In three words, Atmosphere, Attitude and Care! We provide high energy and aggressive rehabilitation in a fun medical center that feels more like a home environment. Our staff uses teamwork, talent, and communication to advance patients towards the goal of achieving the highest level of independence.

You will need to work hard and rest well, so bring a daytime wardrobe that you would wear to the gym and whatever comforts that will allow you to rest and sleep well. Here are some essentials:

When you get to Neulife, you will meet with one of our admissions coordinators for a brief introduction and orientation to the facility. You will be taken to your room to get comfortable and meet your Nurse for the day. Your Case Manager will stop by to see if you have any questions. In the first 24 hours, you will be evaluated by Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy Teams. From those evaluations, the team will create a care plan and get you scheduled to start working towards your goals.

We will personalize your daily schedule based on your individual needs. We will provide a stimulating day of therapy and small group activities throughout the day. On Saturday, there will be group activities to participate in as well as an open gym schedule. Your therapist will be assigning homework that will keep you busy on the weekends, but still allow you to give your body the much needed rest.

Upon admission, you will be assigned an internal case manager who will introduce themselves to you shortly after admission, as well as reach out to your family. You will receive updates weekly from your assigned case manager.

Yes, you will see a variety of physicians during your stay at NeuLife.

We want to make this process as simple as possible by offering many ways to pay for this much needed care because we know that paying for rehab can be challenging. We accept many forms of payments such as a variety of insurances, workers compensation, single case agreements with hospitals and insurances, qualified litigation cases, and private pay. We also work with companies that can help you with finding financing options.

An average length of stay is 30-60 days depending on how much time you need to recover. The goal here is to get you to the highest level of independence, so you can go forward with your life.

We have outdoor visitation by appointment 7 days a week from 9am-9pm, and indoor visitation Monday-Friday from 4 pm-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am-2pm.

We take the COVID-19 virus very seriously at NeuLife and we operate with an abundance of caution to keep everyone safe. We are doing testing on our employees every other week, and we require non vaccinated employees, as well as all visitors, to wear face shields and face masks. Everyone who arrives at our facility must have their temperature taken and fill out a COVID questionnaire before entering the building.
